Roofing Systems
Asphalt Shingles
This asphalt and fiberglass laminated product is the most common roofing system in the United States. There is a lot of misinformation about the correct way to install shingles of which many are ignorant to. Let us show you how it is done right.
Concrete Tile
This product is made up of a mixture of cement, sand, color pigment, marble powder, and concrete that is poured into metal molds to form the shape. The main fact to understand about a tile roof, is the tile does not waterproof your roof. It is the underlayment beneath the tile that does so. We make sure to install a quality underlayment so you do not have to worry about your roof.
Clay Tile
A similar and older version of concrete tile, there are many ways to install this clay manufactured product. These tiles may either be nailed using noncorrosive nails direct to the roof decking, nailed to battens, or mortared together at the joints. Like a concrete tile roof, the underlayment waterproofs the roof.
Flat Foam Roofing
This roofing system is used for structures that have very little slope. A foam roof consists of a polyurethane foam that sprayed typically directly to the roof decking at a minimum of 1 inch thick. It is then coated with an elastomeric coating and sealed with acyclic around all penetrations
Rolled Roofing (modified bitumen)
This system consists of a base layer of an asphalt-based peel and stick or torch down product. Which is then covered with an cap sheet product that is similar to the base layer but consists of granules to improve durability.

The Roofing Process
In this first step, an Ascending Homes representative will come to your home and perform a free end-to-end no obligation roof inspection which includes the finest attention to detail so no possible signs of roof damage or age will be missed. After the inspection is complete, you will receive an honest opinion and correct evaluation of your roof.
After our representative performs their inspection, you will receive an honest evaluation of detailed estimated cost for your project, sent to your email or delivered in person. We then discuss and answer any questions you may have about the proposal.
After the estimate and scope of work is agreed upon, we then communicate the start date of your project as well as everything that is necessary to start. On a roof replacement project, on the day of delivery for the roofing materials, the driveway will need to be clear so we can load all the necessary roofing components on the roof. This a safer and more efficient way of loading.
At the start date of your roof, we will need access to the driveway to temporarily park out trailer to dispose of the old roof. We will also need access to the backyard to lay tarps down to help ensure a clean workspace. You will be informed of any wood replacement or addendums that may arise.
Our installers are highly trained and knowledgeable, so most roofs are completed between 1-3 days. You can find peace knowing that your project is professionally managed by our competent contractors.
After your project is complete, we guide you through a final walkthrough to ensure you are satisfied with your project. We will also inform you of any details regarding functionality and maintenance if necessary.

The Insurance Process
We’re experts at making the insurance side of roofing projects as quick and seamless as possible.
We specialize in analyzing roof damage. In this first step, an Ascending Homes representative will come to your home and perform a free end-to-end no obligation roof inspection which includes the finest attention to detail so no possible signs of roof damage or age will be missed. After the inspection is complete, you will receive an honest opinion and correct evaluation of your roof.
We can assist you in filing a claim to your insurance company regarding the storm damage. We will need your name and address to file this claim.
After a claim is filed, an insurance adjuster will then schedule a date to inspect the damage. It is best at this point if we are there with the adjuster, making sure everything goes smoothly and all the damage is assessed and counted for.
The insurance adjuster will then conclude if they will repair or replace. We will fight to make sure the correct decision will be made for your roof.
After the estimate and scope of work is agreed upon, we then communicate the start date of your project as well as everything that is necessary to start. After the work is completed, we will assist you in sending a final invoice to submit to your insurance company so they may release the “Depreciation Value” of the estimate for your roof.
After your project is complete, we guide you through a final walkthrough to ensure you are satisfied with your project. We will also inform you of any details regarding functionality and maintenance if necessary.
